cirrus7 mini-PCs – now with LTS-Release Ubuntu 16.04 LTS “Xenial Xerus”

Tomorrow is the next Ubuntu LTS release of Ubuntu. Version 16.04 is named “Xenial Xerus”  mini-PCs order with the latest Ubuntu operating system.

As usual with LTS versions there is a whole 5 years support. Fortunately, the long-term support kernel in version 4.4 is also on board. The official release notes as well as an upgrade manual of previous versions are available here Release Notes.

cirrus⁷ mini-PCs are optimized for “out of the box” use with Ubuntu. No additional kernel modules are required for operation. For pre-installation on our mini-PCs, we always provide the current LTS version, as well as the latest Ubuntu release to choose from.
